How to infuse emotions in your texts

Updated: May 24, 2019

The art of contemplation, a portal to the eccentricity of our thoughts that rises through our curiosity, the extravagant merging of our outer world with the inner sense, a virtuous exaltation of emotions and the expansion of our perception through it.

To infuse emotions in our text requires a deep connection with ourselves. An intriguing act of recognition of all that we feel can semantically be described, acknowledge, and expressed in many individual ways. The appreciation of our thoughts as a tool, a medium of communication between the soul and mind, allows the one to not only symbolically identify them as a response effected by our perception but, also, guide them to plausible context, a context of recreation and emotional expansion.

Every time we contemplate an object, a flower as an example, we not only see its physical form and colors but emotions that arise while looking at it. The remembrance of a moment connected with the flower, perhaps the gift received a long time ago, and so on. Curiously, we immerse our thoughts in an enhanced context, and we received notions expressed in feelings that create a sense of communication with this particular situation. It is at that moment that thoughts can be transformed into words, into sentences, prose, and poetry.

The art of infusing emotions is the simple act of being honest with this pure intent of emotional recognition that rises through the interaction with the flower. We transport ourselves to an internal context, undisturbed by the outer world, and we look for those words that better fit into this emotional state. This moment can be as divine and logical, as magical as transformative, as abstract as eloquent. What matters is the fact that it is your moment.

Because when we allow ourselves to be curious, we perceive the unperceivable, we discover new worlds; we expand our perception. This simple act is what helps everyone to be aware of their inner state and unblock the desire of infusing emotions in her/his text. A courageous step into describing and sharing with others the internal state of mind, connected with the heart, to emphasize what we feel and use this medium as a method of personal expansion and better expression. It is not about comparison but just trying, trying to write from the heart without prejudices and/or judgmental opinion in how others might think about our thoughts and emotions because this is an individual act, an act of recognition of the importance of expressing.

Because in writing, I find peace, I immerse myself into myself; I put colors on the picture of my life, I put words in the sentences of my journey. I discover new abilities of expression I can share it with others. It helps me to understand myself and, perhaps, others understand themselves in positive ways.

The art of infusing emotions in our texts, the rediscovery of ourselves, a doorway to go through and fall in love, to fall and be in love with our way to be.
